So the “problem” was choosing a coating that would not interfere with the fine tolerance needed to put the 5 parts together to make one unit, also it needed to be visually appealing & still be able to accept some abuse from being inserted to a spring loaded mount time after time, This was very important for his customers and also his brand awareness, so whether its matt black to a stunning royal blue, fire red and the ever stunning Tequila Sunrise the custom options are endless and more and more requests are coming through as time goes on. I contacted Andy @ kotec via email in regards to having a batch of car items finished in the cerakote after following his work on social media, the parts were finished in the exact way that he described and showed me examples of his work even before i dropped of my items, i was delighted on collection day and even during the rebuild of the parts they went back together without a fuss and now look a million times better plus the added protection of the cerakote will provide great protection from the elements and chemicals used in the future, you have me converted to the world of Cerakote and i will certainly be back for more.
